Niigata University
Niigata University is a mammoth university consisting of ten faculties and five graduate schools: Faculties of Humanities, Education, Law, Economics, Science, Medicine, Dentistry, Engineering, Agriculture, and Creative Studies, and Graduate Schools of Education, Modern Society and Culture, Science and Technology, Health Science, and Medical and Dental Sciences.
The ideals of Niigata University shall be those of autonomy and creation based on the traditions of simplicity and modesty fostered in the lofty ambition (we call it "earth of Koshi") and the enterprising spirit of a port city opened to the world, and the university shall have contribution to the steady development of the region and the world through education and research as its purpose.
Niigata University currently has international cooperation agreements in university-level with 78 universities and institutions in 27 countries and in faculty-level with 269 universities and institutions in 31 countries throughout the world.
Fukushima University
Fukushima University consists of four faculties in the field of Arts and Sciences: Faculty of Human Development and Culture, Faculty of Administration and Social Sciences, Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, and Faculty of Symbiotic Systems Science. Approximately 4,500 students study at our institution every year.
Our University also offers graduate programs corresponding to the aforementioned four faculties, which are: the School of Education, School of Public Policy and Regional Administration, School of Economics, and the School of Symbiotic Systems Science.
Fukushima University is located in Fukushima Prefecture, which experienced the Great East Japan Earthquake in March, 2011. Since the disasters, our university has played a significant role in providing support activities and research towards the revitalization of affected areas and regions in our prefecture.
The campus is located on the hills 10km south of Fukushima City, and is surrounded by beautiful rural and mountainous scenery.

Ankara University
History
The foundation of Ankara University was a personal initiative of Atatürk, meant to form the basis of his principles and revolutionary ideas; to disseminate, firmly establish and defend these principles and ideas that express modernity, science and enlightenment nationwide. The initial and impressive accomplishments of the new Republic in the area of higher education were to open a new School of Law in 1925; Higher Institute of Agriculture in 1933; Faculty of Humanities in 1935; The subsequent history of Ankara University, officially established in 1946 with the Faculties of Law, Humanities, Science and Medicine, each of which had important missions in the building of the Republic of Turkey
Mission
The mission of Ankara University is to educate individuals that will guide the society in the fields of science and arts through a universal perspective, and to contribute to the production of science, technology and arts with its distinctive and qualified research in the light of Atatürk’s saying, “Science is the most reliable guide in life.”
Vision
The main objectives of our university are: to create scientific research and implement improvement projects by taking the primary needs of the country and the society into consideration; to support scientific research by allocating the highest amount of domestic and outer sources possible within both national and international contexts; to attach high importance to cooperation between the university and industry in scientific research activities; to accelerate national production with scientific and technological innovations by integrating the current technology development center with the region, highlighting interdisciplinary approaches in education and research, throughout the whole wide range of the scientific disciplines of the university. Ankara University has 12 campuses including 14 faculties, 9 institutes, 6 vocational schools, 2 colleges, 1 state conservatory and 1 prep school. The approximate number of the students and academic staff are 34,386 and 3,800 respectively.
Ege University
Ege University is established in the year 1955 in Bornova- Izmir, in the west of Turkey. Ege University Campus covers 3,700 hectare of land with educational, cultural, sporting and social facilities. Green areas, recreational lands, parking lots, roads, traffic signs and direction signboards are also available. National and international communication is very easy by the internet and phone networks.
A well-equipped central library, Olympic indoor swimming pool, sports hall, football fields, tennis and basketball courts, miniature-football, arts hall, campus culture center, student village for accommodation fulfills the needs Ege University students. Moreover, for the students, cafeterias, a university club house, a shopping center, a hypermarket, a guesthouse for university members are also present. There are also dormitories for the students at reasonable prices which are administered by The State Organizations. Local transportation to the campus by means of its scheduled bus and underground services are available.
Ege University has 11 Faculties, 28 Research Centers, 7 Research and Graduate Institutes and has almost 55,000 students. There are also Vocational Schools and Applied Training Centers in the surroundings of İzmir.
With all the above cited facilities, Ege University aims to serve its students and the public in terms of educational, scientific, health, social and cultural needs.
Middle East Technical University
Middle East Technical University (METU), a state university founded in 1956 in Ankara, Turkey, currently has about 28,000 students (about 19,000 undergraduate and 9,000 graduate students). METU has 1,250 full-time teaching faculty members, and more than 80% of the faculty members received their Ph.D. degrees from most prominent universities from institutions abroad. Most of METU’s academic departments give admission to only the top 1% ranking students among approximately 1.5 million applicants taking the National University Entrance Examination at the end of high school.
METU has 43 undergraduate programs within 5 faculties (Faculties of Architecture, Arts and Sciences, Economic and Administrative Sciences, Education, Engineering). Faculty of Engineering is the biggest faculty with 13 departments. There are 5 Graduate Schools with 107 masters and 69 doctorate programs and 27 Interdisciplinary Research Centers. The language of instruction at METU is English in all its degree programs.
METU hosts over 1,700 international students from nearly 94 different countries studying toward their academic degrees. Undergraduate and graduate students from many countries may also attend a semester- or a year-long exchange programs at METU. With 168 Erasmus agreements with European countries and 182 bilateral exchange and cooperation agreements with universities in other countries (i.e., in Central Asia, Middle East, North America, Australia, Far East and Pacific Region), METU annually sends 350 students and 60 teaching staff abroad and hosts 300 students and 50 teaching staff/researchers at METU as part of the exchange programs.
